Is wireless electricity transmission possible? | |
As per the great inventor Nikola Tesla, wireless transmission electrical energy is possible. He demonstrated wireless (no battery) electric lamp before Institute of electrical Engineers in 1893. As per his books or papers (between 1893 and 1900) he worked on wireless energy transmission and some extent he transmitted wireless energy. If any body knows further knowledge of wireless transmission of energy (published papers, existing projects, future projects, existing patents (other than Tesla's patents) regarding wireless electrical transmission or any other related information), please post.
Thank you.

1Of course it is. It is done all the time at Iofe Institute in St. Petersburg Russia, where they have continued research into this in the field of lasers and semi conductors (as a parallel pursuit). Also with burst technology. Also, the Japanese physicist Hidetsugu Yagi did a lot of work in the field.
However, I am not sure whether you are talking about energy that can then be used by a consumer or high energy antanae, which is already a reality.

yes! though its like a magic but i think it is possible to a large extent..for example
wireless power transfer over two-meter distance, from the coil on the left to the coil on the right, where it powers a 60w light bulb. members of the team that performed the experiment are obstructing the direct line of sight between the coils an experiment conducted at mit..
